Bring it with you when coming to choose or pick up your kitten, or
Return it to us prior to sending a deposit if you wish to reserve a kitten.
You may choose to reserve one of our precious British Shorthair kittens, if you do please contact us directly via phone, text, or email first, as this page needs to be signed and returned pritor to you placing a deposit.
Specific kitten reservation: Deposit is half of the kitten’s total price. For example, if the kitten is of breeding quality and its full price is $3,000, the deposit is $1,500. All deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another kitten in any event where that specific kitten unexpectedly becomes unavailable.
Kittens ready to go: If a kitten is already at the age to leave for their new home and no deposits have been placed, the full price will be due at the time of choosing the kitten.
Do not send payment until availability is confirmed and all details are discussed.
Selection Process: Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Families with confirmed deposits will be listed on the reservations page, and their chosen kitten will be marked as reserved on the available kitten page.
Remaining balance: Due upon meeting in person. Payment must be made payable to Nadine Sinn in cash, Zelle, cashier’s check, or money order.
All meet-and-greets and adoptions are in Phoenix, Arizona at our Gilbert location.
Out-of-town buyers: Responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.
Safety: All meetings scheduled in advance; kittens only released after agreements are completed.
What Your Kitten Price Includes
When you purchase from DesertCrown, your kitten comes with:

Age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations, administered before adoption
Deworming at 5, 8, and 11 weeks

Recent Vet Check Prior to Leaving DesertCrown Cattery
Either a WCF or TICA registration depending on Parents Document Status (if requested; only kittens with breeding/show quality will receive lineage paperwork and titles)
Breeding rights: If purchased, allow 30 days for paperwork and certificates to be processed and delivered.

30 days health coverage at no cost & no obligation to continue.
72-hour health guarantee: If a licensed veterinarian confirms a serious health issue within 72 hours, the buyer may return the kitten for a replacement. The buyer is responsible for any costs associated with this return.
In the unfortunate event of a kitten’s death within the first 72 hours of possession, the buyer must have a veterinary necropsy and lab tests to determine the cause. A written report & all documents from a licensed veterinarian must be submitted to DesertCrown Cattery within 24 hours of the kitten’s death. If the report is not submitted in this timeframe, any claim is considered null and void. DesertCrown Cattery is not responsible for any costs associated with this. If confirmed, a replacement kitten will be offered; with an additional fee of $500 is to be paid to Nadine Sinn for her own loss and no additional refunds or replacements will be given.
Buyer agrees that their kitten must be kept indoors only and receive regular veterinary care.
By signing this agreement, the buyer acknowledges:
They have read and understood all purchase terms, including deposits and payment requirements.
They understand all kittens are sold as described, and pet-quality kittens do not include breeding rights unless purchased as such.
They agree to provide a loving, safe, and responsible home.
They acknowledge that all deposits are non-refundable.
They agree to maintain veterinary care and follow DesertCrown’s guidance for kitten health and care.
They understand that if a kitten is already at the age to leave for a new home and no deposits have been placed, the full purchase price will be due at the time of choosing the kitten. Or if you need time to arrange picking up your kitten, Half is due to reserve your kitten and the other half is due at pick up which must be within 30 days if kitten is already at the age to leave.
They acknowledge that kittens must be kept indoors, provided proper nutrition, and receive regular veterinary care.
They understand that behavior is not guaranteed, though kittens are socialized and raised to be confident, friendly, and well-adjusted. I give the best possible information on each kitten's personalities on their own pages.
Pet-only kittens must be spayed or neutered promptly if sold not currently fixed. They may not breed. If a DesertCrown Cattery pet-only kitten produces kittens at any time, the buyer agrees to promptly pay a one time fine of $2000 more to DesertCrown Cattery and paperwork/pedigree still will not be given.
Mild eye discharge is common in kittens, especially in multi-cat homes or during stressful transitions such as moving. It is usually not a sign of illness. Owners should gently keep the kitten’s face clean using cotton pads. Normal eye discharge is not grounds for return. If concerns arise, buyers are encouraged to use their included health coverage and consult a veterinarian.
Free Health Coverage Activation: Information on activating your kitten’s complimentary health coverage will be provided once a deposit is made. This coverage must be activated either one day prior to pickup or on the day of pickup. Kittens may not leave without active health coverage in place—no exceptions unless you provide a screen shot of your kitten activated onto another pet insurance plan you already carry.
